Resilience, Strength, & Love Story Heavy Mixed Belcher Extension Chain Necklace

Description

Crafted in 18-karat Yellow Gold, this 18" Heavy Mixed Belcher Extension Chain Necklace symbolizes Resilience. Wild, abundant, and untamed, the blossoms are fed with passion and continue to bloom, even in darkness, against adversity. But we can’t separate the flower from its thorn. The Thorn is the risk we assume for something we love, for living life fully without reserve. Strength is within, we all have it, but sometimes it wanes, and sometimes we really need to call on it. The Strength collection reminds us that it is there. The lion symbolizes strength, dignity, passion & self-confidence. A True Love Knot, also known as Bowen's Knot, is a heraldic knot representing the connectivity of true love. The star represents energy & divine guidance. The 7 is a tribute to the classic types of love as defined thousands of years ago: Eros: romantic love, Philia: friendship, Agape: universal love, Storge: the love between parent and child, Ludus: playful love, Pragma: love founded on duty & reason, Philautia: self-love.

Resilience

This piece is derived from the Resilience Tenet.
Because it is worth pursuing a life filled with blossoms which continue to bloom, even in darkness, against adversity. Below are the symbols and their meanings.

Blossoms

Wild, abundant, untamed, these flowers are fed with passion and continue to bloom even in adversity. Blossoms still bloom in darkness when tended.

Thorn

The thorn is a symbol of the risk we assume when we follow our hearts because you can't separate the blossom from its thorn. A juxtaposition of beginnings and endings, sorrow and joy; dark and light. Shown with a background of resilient dark blossoms.

Sparrow

We chose the Sparrow, to pictorially represent its homophone “Spero”, Latin for Hope. Choose to hold onto hope. Dum Spiro Spero: As long as I breathe, I hope.
